Capacity building internazionale, Cyber 4.0 nel team di esperti dell’UE per il primo corso sulla cyber diplomazia di LAC 4

Nell’ambito della cooperazione con il Centro di Competenza Cyber per l’America Latina e i Caraibi (LAC 4), Cyber 4.0 ha supportato la prima attività di formazione in materia di cyber diplomazia per il Ministero degli Affari Esteri dell’Ecuador.

LAC 4 è il centro di competenza promosso e finanziato dall’Unione Europea per sviluppare attività di capacity building nelle regioni centro- e sud-americane. Il Centro è stato attivato nel contesto del progetto EU CyberNet, di cui Cyber 4.0 è Stakeholder.

Il corso, primo nel suo genere, era indirizzato a diplomatici e membri dell’Assemblea parlamentare della Repubblica dell’Ecuador, con l’obiettivo di fornire conoscenze e strumenti utili a prendere parte attiva alle discussioni in materia di cybersecurity e cybercrime che si stanno sviluppando nel panorama internazionale, in particolare con riferimento ai lavori del Primo e del Terzo Comitato dell’Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite.

International capacity building, Cyber 4.0 joins the team of experts of the European Union for the first course on cyberdiplomacy of LAC 4, the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Center.

In the framework of the cooperation with the LAC 4, the Latin America and Caribbean Cyber Competence Center, Cyber 4.0 supported the deployment of the first course on cyberdiplomacy for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Ecuador.

LAC 4 is the regional competence center promoted and funded by the European Union aimed at developing capacity building initiatives in the Central, Caribbean and South American States. The Center has been started in the framework of the EU CyberNet Project, which Cyber 4.0 is a Stakeholder of.

The course, at its first edition, was addressing diplomats and members of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Republic of Ecuador, with the goal to increase knowledge and provide tools useful to take pro-active part in the ongoing international debates on cybersecurity and cybercrime, in particular with reference to the work that is done in the First and Third Committee pf the General Assembly of the United Nations.
